Ticket machines at 23 railway stations in Lithuania

Ticket machines are installed at the country’s busiest railway stations, with a total of 33 ticket machines at 23 stations, including 9 stations where tickets were previously not available.

 

Ticket machines have been installed at the following railway stations: in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Lentvaris, Kaišiadorys, Švenčionėliai, Kazlų Rūda, Trakai, Varėna, Naujoji Vilnia, Ignalina, Visaginas, Marijampolė, Jonava, Kėdainiai, Kretinga, Plungė, Telšiai, Radviliskis, Pabradė, and Vievis. Vilnius residents and visitors arriving at Vilnius Airport will also be able to buy tickets at the Vilnius Airport ticket machine.



How do I buy a ticket from a ticket machine?

  1. CHOOSE YOUR JOURNEY. Choose your destination. Select the passengers or applicable concessions. Choose the date and time of the journey. If necessary, add additional travel services (bicycle or pet transport, large luggage, etc.).

1. How many days in advance can I buy a ticket from a ticket machine?

Tickets from ticket machines can be purchased 7 days in advance.


2. What do I do if I lost a ticket bought from a ticket machine?

3. Is there an option to receive my ticket by email when I buy it from a ticket machine?       

No, you will not be able to receive a ticket purchased from a ticket machine by email.

You can receive your ticket by email when you buy it online at www.ltglink.lt or in the mobile app.

 

4. How many tickets can I buy from a ticket machine in one purchase?    

Single tickets: 5 tickets (inclusive), fixed-term tickets: 1 ticket.


5. Why is there no cash payment option at ticket machines? 

Card payments are envisaged to simplify and streamline the purchase process and to take changing customer needs into account. 

Of course, those who want to buy tickets in cash will have the option to do so at alternative outlets – Perlas terminals. 


6. What do I do if the ticket machine malfunctions or if I have problems buying a ticket?

Please call the Customer Information Centre at +370 700 55 111. You can also contact train attendants to report any problems.
